A different case between playthroughs
Every playthrough selects a supernatural killer from a pool of candidates. Each candidate has a distinct campaign, reasoning, kill style and target list. This means a universal “the killer is always X” guide would be inaccurate.
Confirmed investigative actions
- Discover secrets held by Ashenridge residents.
- Fish, mine, forage and craft ingredients that can help solve the mystery.
- Create occult objects that may protect potential victims.
- Break into residents' homes, with the risk of being caught.
- Explore day and night while time continues to pass.
- Choose whether to stop the killer or allow chaos to continue.
Why the guide will be spoiler-layered
Character survival changes storylines, and some romance candidates can be killers or victims. Post-launch guides will therefore use three labels: spoiler-free preparation, light mechanical spoilers, and full case solution.
